RU student evaluating HSC answer scripts, 100 sheets recovered

Rajshahi education board authorities have recovered a total of 100 answer scripts of recently held Higher Secondary Certificate examinations from a university dormitory.

On information, Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Rajshahi, examination controller Tapan Kumar Sarkar, and deputy examination controller Zahidur Rahim recovered the 100 answer scripts from Monnujan Hall, a female students dormitory of Rajshahi University (RU) on Monday.

The answer scripts were of second paper of Islamic History and Culture subject. The exam of the paper was held on 2 May and its subject code was 268 and examiner code 9504.

According to Rajshahi education board officials, the examiner code belongs to Md Abul Kalam, a teacher of a private college in Rajshahi city.

However, they could not immediately know the student from whose possession the answer scripts were recovered.

Tapan Kumar Sarkar told Prothom Alo in the evening that examiner Abul Kalam was produced at the education board and his statement was being recorded.
