'Ratnagarbha Ma' conferred on 25 mothers

'Ratnagarbha Ma' (mothers of talents), an award initiated to honour successful mothers across the country, has been conferred on 25 mothers this year.
The mothers were honoured with the award on Sunday at a city hotel by Azad Products Ltd marking the International Mother's Day.
Among the awardees, there are Anita Chowdhury, wife of Square Group's founder Samson H Chowdhury; Nasreen Fatema Awal, director of Multimode Group; Begum Rashida Chowdhury, mother of singers Fahmida Nabi and Samina Chowdhury.
This year's 'Ratnagarbha Ma' award also went to Anwara Khatun, Nurunnahar Heera, Gulnahar Lutfe Ara, Jaynab Begum, Sayera Rahman, Saleha Khatun, Sahera Khatun, Nilufar Begum, Saleha Begum, Zhora Khatun, Begum Ayesha Khanam, Shamsun Nahar, Lily Begum, Guri Chakma, Bijli Biswas, Swapna Barua, Merry Bernadette Roy, Anwara Islam, Fatema Rashid, Hasne Ara Gias, Noorer Nesa Bhuiya and Monwara Begum.
After receiving the award, Gulnahar Lutfe Ara told Prothom Alo, "This recognition, I think, will boost my children to become more dedicated and responsible for the country."
Azad Products has been honouring mothers with the awards since 2003.
