Siblings drown in Nasirnagar

Two siblings drowned in a water body in Goalnagar Modhopara area of Nasirnagar upazila in Brahmanbaria, reports UNB.

The deceased are Arman Mia, 16, and Salman Mia, 14, sons of Masuk Mia of Goalnagar village.

Local UP chairman Ajharul Haque said firstly Salman drowned while taking bath in a beel later Arman also drowned trying to save his brother.

When their bodies were eventually recovered and taken to hospital, physicians declared them dead.

The duo who were residents of Chattogram, were visiting their grandparents' house along with their family.
