Teacher made OSD over recovery of 100 answer scripts from RU

Abul Kalam Azad, assistant professor of New Govt Degree College, Rajshahi has been made an officer on special duty (OSD) following the recovery of 100 answer scripts of the recently held HSC examinations from a Rajshahi University dormitory.

Secondary and Higher Education Division of the education ministry published an order in this regard on Tuesday, according to the official website of the ministry.

The authorities have constituted a three-member committee, headed by professor Habibur Rahman, principal of Rajshahi College, to investigate the incident of the recovery of the 100 answer scripts.

Two other members are -- professor Molla Mafizuddin, principal of Government City College, Rajshahi, and Akbar Hossain, inspector (College) of Rajshahi education board.

Earlier on Monday, a total of 100 unevaluated answer scripts of Islamic History of the recently held HSC exams under Rajshahi education board were recovered from Monnujan Hall, a female students’ dormitory of Rajshahi University (RU).

The answer scripts were given to professor Abul Kalam, a teacher of Rajshahi New Government Degree College, to evaluate, said Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Rajshahi, examination controller Tapan Kumar Sarkar.
