UN concerned over way of handling Nizami’s case

The spokesperson of UN secretary general, Stephane Dujarric, has said the United Nations have concern over the execution of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Matiur Rahman Nizami given the way the case was handled.

“Obviously, we’ve raised our concern on this particular case, the way the case has been handled,” Stephane Dujarric replied when a journalist drew his attention to the execution of Jamaat leader in the daily press briefing on Wednesday.

Drawing his attention to the execution of Jamaat chief Matiur Rahman Nizami, he was asked whether he has any information about the trial and what secretary general has to say.
