Welcome to shiny seventeenth

The morning at Bangla Academy started with the vibrant festival for the respected readers of Prothom Alo, marking its 17th anniversary.

The programme kicked off with songs of Rabindranath Tagore, Kazi Nazrul Islam, Salil Chowdhury and Dwijendra Lal Roy.

Managing editor of Prothom Alo, Sajjad Sharif inaugurated the event releasing balloons, in presence of celebrities including actress Bidya Sinha Saha Mim, Mehjabin and cricketer Soumya Sarkar.

The event is all set to entertain the readers of Prothom Alo.

Prothom Alo set up different stalls of its sections, including lifestyle supplement Naksha, satire magazine Rosh+Alo, Chhutir Dinay, Swapno Niye and others.

Renowned personalities from different walks of life will be present at the event.

The event will end at 5:00pm.
