Wifaq publishes 39th exam results
The Quomi Madrasa Education Board (Wifaqul Madarisil Arabia - Wifaq) published the 39th central examination results on Wednesday.
The board’s secretary general Abdul Jabbar Jahanabadi announced the results at a press conference in the board auditorium in Dhaka.
He said Quomi madrasa students achieved success attending in examination in a proper environment. They will play their role in building ideal generation and establish peace through preaching the ideology of Islam nationwide, he hoped.
A total of 62293 students out of 86170 examinees passed the central exam with 72.29 per cent pass rate. Among them, 11277 got star marks, while 14653 obtained first division.
Wifaq assistant secretary general Jubair Ahmad Chowdhury, Omar Faruq Sandwipi, examination controller Abu Yusuf, assistant examination controller Abdul Jalil Faruqi, officials Aminul Haq and Abdur Rashid were present, among others on the occasion.

Among the Taqmil (highest) level students, Muhammad Quamrul Hasan of Dhalka Nagar madrasa stood first while Jalkuri madrasa’s Muhammad Rashedul Islam and Faridabad madrasa student Molla Abdul Hasib were 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Of the Taqmil girl students, Rabiba Hussain Bushra and Humaira Siddiqa of National Women’s Madrasa, Rampura, stood 1st and 3rd respectively, while Sumaiya Tasnim of Chaklokman madrasa of Bogra stood 2nd.
