Three killed as train hits microbus in Moulvibazar

Three people were killed as a train hit a microbus in Kulaura upazila of Moulvibazar on Sunday.

The accident took place in Hossenpur level crossing area near Bhatera rail station of the upazila around 1:15pm on Sunday.

Sources at railway authorities and upazlia administration said the Sylhet-bound Parabat Express from Dhaka was involved with an accident in Hossenpur area.

Kulaura upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) ATM Farhad Chowdhury said three passengers of the microbus were killed in the accident.

Details of the deceased were immediately unavailable.
