Babunagari meets home minister at his residence

Ameer of Hefazat-e-Islam Junaid Babunagari on Monday met home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal at his Dhanmondi residence for what they said ‘courtesy call’.

The party’s secretary general Nurul Islam Jihadi and the personal secretary of late ameer Shah Ahmed Shafi accompanied him.

However, sources told Prothom Alo that from that meeting, they will demand the release of all leaders and activists of Hefazat-e-Islam arrested in different cases recently.

They also will urge the home boss to reopen the madrasas across the country.
