Bangladesh to get 790,000 AstraZeneca doses Saturday from Germany
The country is to receive another consignment of 790,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine from Germany on Saturday. The public relations office of the health and family welfare ministry confirmed this on Friday.
The public relations office said a flight carrying the consignment will land in Hazrat Shahajalal International Airport on Saturday evening.
German ambassador to Bangladesh accompanied by the senior secretary of health service division Lokman Hossain will receive the consignment at the airport.
As per BSS report, the country has administered 50,245,255 doses as of Thursday, 30 September. Of them, 33,325,007 people received the first dose while 16,920,248 second one.
