Mohakhali slum fire doused
A fire that broke out at the Shattola slum in Dhaka’s Mohakhali area early Monday has been doused.
The fire broke out at the slum around 6:48am, UNB reports.
On information, nine firefighting units reached the spot at around 7:00am, said Anwarul Islam, warehouse inspector of Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters media cell.
The fire was brought under control at around 8:10am and doused at 9:38am.
No death or injuries have been reported so far in the fire.
