Fire breaks out at six-storey building in Dhaka's Baridhara

A fire broke out at a six-storey building in the capital’s Baridhara J Block on Sunday afternoon.

Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) authority said the fire started on the 4th floor of the building inside the showroom of Vitra Furniters at around 4:24pm, reports UNB.

Six firefighting units rushed to the spot to control the fire, said Shahjahan Sikder, DAD (Media cell) of the FSCD. What caused the fire was not immediately known, he said.
