LPG cylinder gas price reduced by Tk 76

Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has slashed the price of liquified petroleum gas (LPG) by Tk 76 to Tk 1,422 per 12-kg cylinder at consumer level.  

The BERC confirmed the matter in a press release on Thursday.

The newly set price will be effective from this evening. Before that the authorities raised the price of LPG gas by a big margin, at Tk 266, last month to Tk 1,498.  

The BERC has been adjusting the price of LPG gas since 2021. But all concerned haven't followed the adjusted price.
