Plastic factory catches fire in Old Dhaka

A fire broke out at a plastic factory in the Old Dhaka. Nine units of the fire service are operating to douse the fire.

The factory is located in Shahidnagar Bou Bazar area of ​​Lalbagh. Fire Service Media Wing Officer Shahjahan Sikder confirmed this to Prothom Alo.

The fire service was informed that the fire broke out in the factory at around 12:06pm on Friday.

The first unit of the fire service reached the spot at 12:15pm and started extinguishing the fire.

The fire service could not immediately say the reason of the fire.

In addition, no immediate information was available about the damage caused to the factory by the fire.
