Explosion takes place at Gulistan area, causality feared

A huge explosion took place at a building near the BRCT bus counter in Dhaka’s Gulistan on Tuesday.

The Fire Service and Civil Defence in an SMS said they received the news of an explosion near the BRTC bus counter around 4:50pm.

Five units of fire service rushed to the stop and began rescue operation. The blast is likely to leave scores of people injured.
