Demonstrating students demanding half bus fare has announced to stage a protest on Thursday on a limited scale considering the HSC examination.

Without deterring the transport movement, students will form a human chain from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Thursday.

Demanding the safer road, agitating students gathered at Rampura bridge area on Wednesday at around 10:45am. Following a rally from Rampura bridge to Rampura bazar, they announced their next course of action at around 1:00pm.

Students said as the HSC examination will begin on Thursday, they will form a human chain along the road at 12:00pm. However, the programme will not obstruct the movement of transports on the street.

Students from different educational institutions started demonstrating on the street on 18 November demanding the half bus fare. The protest turned into the movement with nine phases following the death of a student of Notre Dame College by garbage truck on 24 November.
