Actress Sohana Saba taken to DB office

Actress Sohana Saba has been taken into custody by the Detective Branch (DB) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police for questioning.

This development was confirmed by DMP's Media and Public Relations Division Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Talebur Rahman in a statement around 1:00 am on Thursday.

Earlier, actress Meher Afroz Shaon was arrested on charges of "conspiring against the state."

She was taken into custody by the DB from her residence in Dhanmondi, Dhaka.
