Lady physician found dead in Kalabagan, marks on back

Dhaka Metropolitan Police on 31 May recovered the body of a lady physician with multiple wounds on her throat and back.

The deceased is Kazi Sabera Rahman,47.

Kalabagan police station’s officer in-charge Ershadul Haque confirmed the news.

He said that police recovered the body of Kazi Sabera Rahman from her residence at 50/1 First Lane, Kalabgan, in the capital city on Monday afternoon.

DMP additional deputy commissioner Shahen Shah Mahmood informed Prothom Alo that the lady physician worked at Green Life Hospital. She had sublet two rooms of the place where she lived.

Police recovered the body after receiving a call from the owner of the building and the tenants who had rented rooms in Kazi Sabera’s house.

Shahen Shah Mahmood added that police detained three persons for interrogation. “Details will be known after the autopsy report,” he said.
