One gets bail in DU admission question leak case
The High Court (HC) Tuesday allowed conditional bail to an accused of Dhaka University (DU) admission test question leakage case, reports BSS.
A HC division bench of justice Mustafa Zaman Islam and justice Mohammad Ali passed the order, allowing bail to Mohaiminul Islam Badhon on condition of appearing before a lower court concerned twice a month.
Advocate Syed Alam Tipu argued for Badhon's bail, while deputy attorney general Amit Das Gupta stood for the state.
According to the case documents, police arrested five people including the head of a gang involved in leaking question paper of Dhaka University and Dhaka Medical College Hospital admission tests in 2020. They were arrested in separate drives on 19 and 20 July, 2020, from capital's Mirpur area.
