DGHS to discontinue COVID-19 briefing from tomorrow

Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has said it will not continue its daily online briefing on COVID-19 situation in the country from Wednesday.

Additional director general of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Nasima Sultana, on Tuesday confirmed this saying, “You all have already been informed that this regular briefing won’t happen from tomorrow."

A press release, she added, regarding the COVID-19 situation will be sent to the media outlets instead.

Nasima Sultana also assured of the updated information about the COVID-19 infection in the country.

However, Bangladesh on Tuesday reported 33 more deaths from the COVID-19 while 2,996 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours.
