Eminent poet Quazi Rosy no more

Eminent poet and former parliament member Quazi Rosy passed away in the city early Sunday, reports UNB.

She breathed her last at a private hospital in the capital around 2:20am, said her family members.

Prime minister Sheikh Hasina expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Quazi Rosy.

In a condolence message Sheikh Hasina said, “Her brave role in poem and in the trial of the war criminal will be remembered.”

She prayed for the eternal salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family.
