Four die of Covid-19 in 24 hrs

Bangladesh reported four more deaths from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours until Friday morning, taking the tally to 27,805, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The number of detected novel coronavirus cases, according to the DGHS, rose to 1,567,139 as 232 more cases were reported in the last 24 hours.

The rate of detection in the last 24 hours until 8:00am decreased further to 1.36 per cent from yesterday’s 1.51 per cent.

The health directorate said a total of 564 people recovered from the highly infectious disease in the last 24 hours, taking the number of the total recovery to 1,530,647.

Of the people who died in the last 24 hours, two were male and two female. Among the Covid-19 patients who died in that time, two were in Dhaka, one each in Chattogram and Barishal.
