Kabir Bin Anwar made new cabinet secretary

Senior secretary to the water resources ministry Kabir Bin Anwar has been appointed as the new cabinet secretary, reports UNB.

The public administration ministry issued a notification in this regard on Sunday.

Kabir Bin Anwar will replace impending cabinet secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam, who will go on Post Retirement Leave (PRL) on 15 December.

Meanwhile, Nazmul Ahsan, chairman (additional secretary) of Petrobangla, has been made secretary to the Water Resources Ministry, it added.
