Coronavirus: 13 health directives for govt officials
In an effort to check the transmission of coronavirus, the health ministry on Tuesday issued 13 directives to be maintained by the officials concerned of all ministries and their subordinate offices.
The directives are:
*Public works ministry could be asked to take necessary steps for setting up a necessary number of disinfection tunnels.
*All offices, office premises and roads must be disinfected before reopening.
*All officials will be allowed to enter office after temperature check with thermal scanner/thermometer.
*The vehicles carrying officials should be disinfected and the officials concerned must maintain a three-foot social distancing and ensure mask use.
*Surgical masks can be used once while masks made from clothes can be used several times after washing.
*Sanitising hands before boarding vehicles on the way to office several times.
*Maintaining social distance while having meals in the office.
*Ensuring handwash after using toilets.
*Ensuring physical distance and use of masks at workplaces.
*All have to use masks and hand sanitisers frequently at offices.
*Monitoring should be there to make sure officials are following health guidelines.
*Taking steps to hang the directives with images on office walls.
*Taking steps to keep sick officials either in isolation or quarantine.
