Islamic preacher Md Afsanul Adnan (Abu Taw Haa Adnan) has been found. He is presently at the Kotwali police station in Rangpur.

And the three others who went missing along with Abu Taw Haa have turned up at their respective homes.

Adnan's mother Ajera Begum has said that her son has been located.

Abu Taw Haa was at a house at Babu Kha in Rangpur. He was taken to the Kotwali police station from there.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Rangpur metropolitan police's Kotwali police station Abdur Rashid told Prothom Alo, around 2:45pm Abu Taw Haa was taken to the police station from his in-law's house in the city's Babu Kha Master Para area. His mother was with him at the time.

Abu Taw Haa Adnan had been missing from 10 June night. His mother filed a general diary (GD) in this regard with the Rangpur Kotwali police station. He was located 8 days after he went missing.

Adnan (31) lives in Rangpur town with this family. Speaking to Prothom Alo, his mother Ajeda Begum said her son would teach Arabic online and also deliver the Jumma sermon at various mosques. At around 4:00pm on 10 June Adnan started out in a rented car from Rangpur, to go to Dhaka where he was to deliver a sermon at a mosque it the capital city. Adnan had been accompanied by two associates Muhit and Firoz as well as the driver Amir Uddin Faiz.

When Adnan's wife called him over phone at 2:36 Thursday, he said he was in Gabtali, Dhaka. His mobile phone was running out of charge. His phone was off since then.

News of Adnan going missing along with the other three went viral on social media. Many also shared videos of Adnan speaking on various religious topics.
