Fifty-four more people were tested positive for coronavirus infections in Chattogram district in the last 24 hours.

Civil surgeon Sheikh Fazle Rabbi told BSS that a total of 27 people was tested positive for coronavirus after diagnosing 124 samples at BITID in last 24 hours.

A total of 22 more new people was tested positive at Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Science University (CVASU) after testing 74 samples, he added.

Meanwhile, five new coronavirus patients have been detected at Cox’s Bazar Medical College Hospital lab after testing 24 samples of Lohagara upazila of the district in last 24 hours.
