COVID-19 patients rise to 1322 in Chattogram

A total of 90 more coronavirus infected patients were detected in Chattogram in the last 24 hours until Friday after examining samples of 482 people, reports BSS.

The total numbers of COVID-19 patients have stood at 1,322 only in Chattogram district till Friday.

Besides, four people died in Chattogram, raising the total death to 49 in the district.

Civil surgeon Sheikh Fazle Rabbi told the news agency that a total of 20 new people was tested positive for coronavirus infections after diagnosing 264 samples at BITID in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 70 more new patients were identified at Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) after testing 129 samples during the same period.

No person was found positive at Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Science University (CVASU) after testing 69 samples, he added.
