Landslide kills minor boy in Chattogram

A minor boy was killed in a landslide in the hilly area in Banshkhali upazila of Chattogram on Friday afternoon, reports UNB.

The deceased was identified as Saimon, 5, son of a certain Rashid Ahmed of Jangal Pairang area of the upazila.

Banshkhali police station acting officer in-charge Md Kamal Uddin said Simon was playing in the yard of the adjoining house. Suddenly the part of the hill collapsed on him.

The family members recovered his body and rushed to Banshkhali Health Complex where on-duty physician declared him dead, he added.
