S Alam group director dies of coronavirus

Director of S. Alam group Morshedul Alam died of COVID-19 infection in Chattogram on Friday.

Murshedul, 65, died at Chattogram’s General Hospital at 10:30pm.

Residential medical officer of the hospital Mustafa Jamal confirmed Murshedul's death to Prothom Alo.

Murshedul was admitted at the coronavirus unit of the hospital on Thursday evening.

He was the elder brother of S Alam group’s chairman Saiful Alam.

Six of the family including the deceased had been tested positive for coronavirus.
