UNO, wife test positive for COVID-19 in Feni

Dagonbhuiyan upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) Md Rabiul Hossain and his wife have been infected with the novel coronavirus.

Besides, 16 more patients including a physician of Feni General Hospital and a Dhaka University student, have been infected, according to civil surgeon office, reports UNB.

The UNO and his wife are now undergoing treatment in a hospital of Chattogram and they are doing well, said deputy commissioner Md Ohiduzzaman on Wednesday.

So far, 671 confirmed coronavirus cases have been recorded in the district.

Meanwhile, 14 people died from the novel virus in the district.
