Youth sued under Digital Security Act in Panchagarh

A case was filed under the Digital Security Act over distortion of photos of the prime minister, president and some other Awami League leaders on Facebook in Uchvita area of Panchagarh town.

The accused youth Abdus Salam, son of Amirul Islam, has been on the run after the case was filed.

Officer-in-charge of Panchagarh police station Abu Akkas Ahmed said organising secretary of Chhatra League's district unit Sahriar Hossain filed the case at Sadar police station.

Salam allegedly distorted photos of prime minister Sheikh Hasina, president Abdul Hamid, AL general secretary Obaidul Quader and different ministers and made a cinema poster with them, he said.
