Mashrafe spends Eid in Narail after recovering from coronavirus

Cricketer Mashrafe Bin Mortaza MP offers Eid prayers at the sadar upazila mosque in Narail

After recovering from coronavirus, Narail-2 member of parliament and cricketer Mashrafe Bin Mortaza rushed home to celebrate Eid. At 7:30 Saturday morning he offered Eid prayers at the sadar upazila mosque near his house. Social distancing was observed at the Eid congregation.

Every year Mashrafe offers Eid prayers with his son Sahel Mortaza, but this year he did not bring his son along because of the coronavirus situation. He uncle and younger brother joined him at the prayers.

Mashrafe spent the entire Friday with the victims of river erosion at Lohagora upazila. He listened to their sufferings and provided them with assistance.

Mashrafe will spend Saturday, Eid day, with his family.

Everyone wanted to embrace Mashrafe after the prayers as is the Eid tradition, but coronavirus prevented that. They exchanged Eid greetings maintaining social distance.

Mashrafe offered special munajat, praying for the country and the people. He asked everyone to maintain precautions against coronavirus.
