Son-in-law of Bangabandhu killer held

Police have arrested Fuad Zaman, the son-in-law of Sultan Shahriar Rashid, a killer of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, for posting on Facebook defamatory remarks about Bangabandhu and 'attempting to instigate disorder'.

A text sent from the Dhaka Metropolitan Police said the DMP's Counter Terrorism And Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit arrested Fuad.

He has been placed on a seven-day remand in connection with a case filed with Dhanmondi police station.
