Worker dies falling off roof

A construction worker was killed and three others injured falling off the roof of an under-construction building of Haripur 210-MW power plant in Narayanganj's Bandar upazila on Sunday night.

The identity of the deceased could not yet be identified.

Shahin Mandal, officer-in-charge of Bandar police station, said four workers slipped from the roof while working on it and suffered critical injuries.

They were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where one of them died around 9:00pm.
