6 CU students suspended for ‘smoking cannabis’

Chittagong University (CU) authorities on Thursday suspended six students on allegations of smoking cannabis in a campus dorm, reports UNB.

CU vice-chancellor professor Iftekhar Uddin Chowdhury exercised his authority to this effect on Thursday afternoon, acting on the recommendation of the board of residence health and disciplinary committee of the university, confirmed assistant proctor of the university Niaz Morshed Ripan.

A proctorial body team caught the six students red-handed, or maybe more appropriately in this case red-eyed and green-handed, while they were smoking up at Alaol Hall on Wednesday night.
