Russian electrocuted at Rooppur power plant

A Russian citizen died from electrocution at Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant site in Ishwardi uapzila of Pabna on Saturday morning, reports UNB.

The deceased is Zeleski Bhatzism, 34, an installer of 'Tret Roshim' farm. He used to live on the 14th floor of No. 3 building at Green City in the project area.

Neighbours spotted his body around 7:45am and informed police.

Later, a team of police and fire fighters went to the spot and recovered the body from his bathroom, said Bahauddin Faruqi, officer-in-charge of Ishwardi police station.

He might have got electrocuted while trying to repair the geyser in the bathroom, said the OC.
