Chattogram murder case accused dies

A man accused in a murder case died at Chittagong Medical College Hospital early Tuesday, reports UNB.

Police named the man as Ali Azam, 31, a resident of Sitakunda upazila.

CMCH police outpost in-charge Zahirul Islam said Azam had been suffering from asthma. The jail authorities hospitalised him on Monday evening after his condition deteriorated.

He died around 12:30am.
