Woman killed as train hits auto-rickshaw

A woman was killed and three others injured after a Khulna-bound train hit an auto-rickshaw at a level crossing in Soromoni of Sadar upazila on Friday.

The deceased was Salma Begum, 31, wife of Md Sabur.

Officer-in-charge of Khanjahan Ali police station Safikul Islam said the woman was killed on the spot.

The injured were passengers of the auto-rickshaw. They were sent to Sadar Hospital for treatment, he added.
