Fire breaks out at Lalbagh plastic factory

A fire broke out at a plastic factory in city’s Lalbagh area on Wednesday night, reports UNB.

The fire originated at the polythene factory in front of Posta Police Outpost at 10:40pm, said Fire Service and Civil Defence control room duty officer Ershad Hossain.

On information, nine fire-fighting units rushed to the spot and are trying to extinguish the fire.

It could not be known immediately how the factory caught fire, added Ershad.
