18 ‘Rohingyas’ detained with Bangladeshi passports

Police’s Detective Branch (DB) detained 18 suspected Rohingyas with Bangladeshi passports from in front of the Indian Assistant High Commission in Chattogram city on Wednesday night, reports UNB.

Mirza Sayem Mahmud, additional deputy commissioner of Chittagong Metropolitan Police, said the DB men conducted a drive after learning that a number of people had gathered in front of the Indian Assistant High Commission in Khulshi.

Seventeen Bangladeshi passports were seized from them.
