Man stabs brother dead

A man has been stabbed to death allegedly by his elder brother in Dhaka's Demra area on Tuesday, reports UNB. 

The deceased was identified as Kabir Hossain, 25, son Ataur Rahman of the area.

The two brothers locked into an altercation in Golakata Bridge area over dues around 10pm, said Inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police outpost.

At one stage, elder brother Sabuj stabbed Kabir indiscriminately, leaving him critically injured.

On information, relatives rescued him and took him to the DMCH where doctors declared him dead around 1am on Wednesday, the inspector added.

Meanwhile, police arrested Sabuj in this connection.
