Throat-slit body of madrasa student found

Police recovered throat-slit body of a madrasa student from Arpara village in Kaliganj upazila of Jhenaidah on Wednesday noon four days after he went missing, reports UNB.

The deceased Alamin Hossain, 10, is son of Abdur Razzak of the village. He was a student of Santal Al-Hera Cadet Hafizul Quran Madrasa in the locality. 


Motlebur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Kaliganj police station, said Alamin went to a waz mahfil (religious programme) on 30 November but did not return home.

Later, family members filed a general diary with the police station in this connection.

Locals spotted Alamin's body on the back side of an abandoned house at noon and informed police.

On information, police recovered the decomposed body and sent it to Sadar hospital morgue for autopsy, the OC added.
