2 killed in Sirajganj road accident

Two fish traders were killed as truck run them over near Shernagar area on Sirajganj-Enayetpur road at Belkuchi upazila in Sirajganj at about 6:15am on Tuesday.

The deceased are Prakashchandra Hawlader, 35, and Gurupada Hawlader, 32, residents of the village of Shernagar. They were carrying fish by rickshaw-van to Belkuchi sadar.

Belkuchi police officer-in-charge Md Anisur Rahman said the bodies have been taken to the police station. Later the bodies will be sent to hospital morgue.

Police seized the truck but the driver managed to flee the spot.
