Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury resigns

Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury has resigned as the Speaker of Jatiya Sangsad.

Bangabhaban sources said the speaker submitted her resignation letter to President Mohammed Shahabuddin on Monday.

She had been serving as the speaker from 30 April 2013.
