PM releases postage stamp on Independence Day

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Wednesday unveiled a commemorative postage stamp on the occasion of Independence and National Day 2026.

The prime minister unveiled the stamp of Taka 10, along with an opening day cover of Taka 10 and a data card of Taka 5, at a ceremony at his Cabinet Division office at Bangladesh Secretariat in the capital at 9:30 am, said sources at the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).

A special canceller was used on the occasion.
