Jatiya Party (JaPa) chairman GM Quader Friday condemned the attack on Netrakona Zilla Parishad chairman candidate Asma Ashraf and demanded immediate arrest of the perpetrators, reports UNB.

He, in a statement, said the supporters of the government have been carrying out attacks on JaPa leader Asma Ashraf from the beginning of the election.

The activities of these pro-government people are seriously disrupting the environment of the election, Quader, also the deputy opposition leader, said. "The election can't be fair amid the unrestrained violence."

Jatiya Party secretary general Md Mujibul Haque Chunnu also condemned the attack on Jatiya Party leader Asma.
