New committee for BCL JnU unit

The central committee of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) has announced a new committee of BCL JnU unit. Faraji and Akter Hossain have been elected as the new president and the general secretary respectively.

BCL central committee made the announcement in a press release signed by BCL central president Al Nahyan Khan and general secretary Lekhak Bhattacharya on Saturday.

It said the newly formed partial committee includes 19 vice-presidents, seven joint-general secretaries and seven organising secretaries.

Besides, some 10 aspirants for the post of the president were included in the vacant posts of BCL central committee.

Earlier on 19 February, 2019, the JnU Chhatra League committee was dissolved by the BCL central executive committee after its members were found to be involved in a series of clashes. A council was held on 29 July that year to form a new committee.
