Indian High Commissioner hosts dinner for BNP delegation

A delegation of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) is now at the Indian high-commissioner’s residence in Dhaka to attend a dinner party. 

Shairul Kabir Khan, member of BNP chairperson’s media wing, said the BNP delegation, led by secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, went there at the invitation of high commissioner, Pranay Verma.  

They entered the high commissioner’s residence around 7:00pm on Thursday, he said, adding BNP standing committee members Khondaker Mosharraf Hossain, Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, vice chairman Abdul Awal Mintu, and organising secretary Shama Obayed are also among the delegation. 

Earlier, the BNP held a meeting with envoys of European countries on Sunday.
