Two ‘with no symptoms’ test COVID-19 positive in Netrakona

Two people who reportedly did not have any symptom of coronavirus tested positive for COVID-19 in Sadar upazila of Netrakona on Sunday, reports news agency UNB,

With the two, the total number of confirmed cases in the district reached four.

One of the victim is a 28-year-old female garment worker of Lakshmipur village while another a 38-year-old man of Lakshmiganj village.

Ahsan Kabir Riyad, , said the two returned to the district recently with sound health.

“Although no symptom like those of coronavirus were seen in them, we got their samples tested at Mymenshingh Medical College Hospital and found those positive on Sunday,” he said.

The two will be treated at their houses which have put under lockdown, said the health official.
