Argentine Foreign Minister arrives in Dhaka

Argentine Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship, Santiago Andrés Cafiero has arrived in Dhaka on a three-day visit.

A jet carrying the minister landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 8:00 am on Monday.

Bangladesh Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen welcomed his Argentine counterpart Santiago Andrés Cafiero at the airport.

Earlier in the second week in February, the Argentine foreign minister told Bangladeshi ambassador to Brazil, Sadia Faizunnesa, that the country will reopen its embassy in Bangladesh on 27 February.

Santiago Andrés Cafiero has arrived in Bangladesh to inaugurate the embassy and enhance bilateral relation between the countries, said diplomatic sources.
